A little about me

I am a native of Woodmere, New York where my father Rav Binyomin Kamenetzky, moved to in 1956.
Encouraged by his father, Rav Yaakov Kamenetzky he founded the Yeshiva of South Shore . I am currently involved in the Yeshiva's High School Division, Mesivta Ateres Yaakov I studied in Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia. for High School and Bais Hamedrash and continued my Torah education at the Ponevez Yeshiva in B'nai Beraq, Israel.

I married Sora Lipschutz of Monsey, NY in October of 1980 . We lived in Lakewood, NJ for almost two years, where I learned in Bais Medrash Govoah.

In 1982 we moved to Pittsburgh, PA where I studied and received ordination at Kollel Bais Yitzchok. I served as Rabbi of Congregation Shaarei Tefilah, (the Russian Shul) and my wife taught at Hillel Academy. In 1986 I moved back to Woodmere and joined the Yeshiva of South Shore .
