Chapter 45: 7-9
Three or More People Reciting Grace 7.The person leading the grace should recite the grace out loud, andthe others at the table should recite with him word for word in ahushed tone. They should conclude each blessing before the leader, sothat they can recite "Amen" after his blessing.
8. After reciting grace, the leader should recite the appropriateblessing for the cup over which he recited the grace. He should drinkat least a revi'is from it, in order that he may recite a b'rochohachronoh.
If the others at the table have drunk from their cups, the leadermust pour a little from his cup into theirs. He should pour some wineinto their cups after he recites the blessing borey pri hagofen, butbefore he drinks, in order that they do not recite a blessing on cupsthat are pagum. Similarly, if their cups are empty, he should poursome wine from the cup of blessing into them. They should not drinkfrom this wine before the leader does.
If everyone has a separate cup that is not pagum, the leader need notpour from his cup into theirs. In such an instance, they may drinkbefore he does. Indeed, the best and most proper practice is for eachindividual to have a full cup.
9. According to certain opinions, should the person leading the gracenot desire to partake of the wine, he may allow another one of thepeople present to recite the blessing borey pri hagofen. The lattershould drink a revi'is of wine and recite the b'rochoh achronoh.Other opinions maintain that this is not proper, and only the personleading the grace should recite the blessing over the cup of wine. The latter opinion should be followed.
