10. Vinegar made from kosher wine - if it is so strong that it bubbles when
poured on the ground - does not become prohibited if touched by a non-Jew.
However, if vinegar is made from a wine that belongs to a non-Jew, it
remains forbidden forever.
11. Brandy made from wine that belongs to a non-Jew - and similarly, the
seeds, peels, and dregs from such wine - is treated as wine itself.
However, brandy made from kosher wine does not become prohibited if touched
by a non-Jew.
12. It has become widespread custom to permit the use of wine salt [i.e.
tartaric acid], since it is not tasty at all.
