Parsha-Parenting represents the weekly classes of Rabbi Shlomo Goldberg,which are sent each week to the parent body and friends of Yeshiva OhrEliyahu of Los Angeles. Each class intends to focus the reader on anaspect of parenting and teaching youngsters. The power of the message issuch that the lessons are applicable to Jews of all backgrounds andsituations.
Rabbi Goldberg received a Bachelor's degree in political philosophy atAustin College. He studied at Yeshiva Aish Hatorah, Yeshiva Torah Ohr, andthe Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva for a total of 10 years. Rabbi Goldberg receivedsmicha (rabbinic ordination) from Rabbi Avraham Dovid Rosenthal, the Rav ofShaare Chesed, and Rabbi Yitzchok Kolitz, the chief rabbi of Yerushalayim.Rabbi Goldberg served as rabbi at Kehillat Torah Bamidbar in Santa Fe, NewMexico and created a day school there. He was later rabbi at the PacificJewish Center (PJC) in Venice, California. Rabbi Goldberg has been menahelof Ohr Eliyahu since 1991. Rabbi Goldberg is a highly acclaimed and popular speaker in Los Angeles.Subscribe
