YomTov - A class on the Jewish Holidays.

YomTov classes focus on a variety of aspects concerning Jewish holidays and commerations, such as: the philosophy behind the holiday; historical background; customs and practices; and relevant laws. Usually, a particular holiday is discussed enough time before that holiday rolls around so that there is time for questions to be answered and further discussion. At times, Special Editions are sent out besides the regular classes. Special Editions consist of questions that readers have asked, or thoughts that readers have sent in that need to be shared with the whole reading audience. Because of this, reader participation is strongly welcomed and encouraged!

While a background in the basic principals of Jewish law is helpful, it is not necessary.

I hope all find YomTov to be an enriching learning experience. I know that I do!
