In the January 21 NYT science section it discussed matter that exists even
in what was thought to be empty space and a pressure vacuum that spans the
universe - that changing the pressure might effect time or undo the atomic
structures in the universe. So the solution may be that Hashem streched out
light Etc. in an instant 5757 years ago by varying the pressure level of
the vacume, leaving scientists with the impression that the universe is
younger than some of its components.
