I have always believed G-d to be ultimate truth. His essence is formed of
truth, which is pure goodness. The way I picture it, G-d is like a ball of
light. Picture if you can a shining and bright ball of light that radiates
all over - the world is filled with its rays. In each one of us, there is a
piece of this ball, a ray or something of the sort, because we were all
created in the image of G-d. Our ultimate goal in life, whether it is
conscious or subconscious is to be one with G-d. Everyone ultimately wants a
relationship with G-d, their creator. Light it naturally attracted to other
light - the rays form together until they are meshed into one, which is what
we try to attain as much as possible.
