Dovid has incorrectly and simplistically answered a complicated and involved

As far as I know, heart transplants are not allowed (only Rabbi Tendler
feels it is allowed), and corneal and kidney transplants are allowed. For a
full, detailed explanation, see Judaism and Healing by Rabbi J. David Bleich
(published in the United States in 1981 by Ktav Publishing). Chapter 23 is
entitled "Organ Transplants."
