There is no getting around it. If you really want to get to the "deeper
levels" you must learn Hebrew. That's it. When I read serious commentaries
in English or translations it turns me off. It is not real. I'm sorry to
say this but it is a fact. Learning Hebrew is possible. A lot of people do
it and it gives a strong sense of satisfaction that you have the key to the
sources of our tradition.
