Let me add some comment here. The minhag of the Chasidim that I know
(particularly in Bobov, and similar groups) is that they use a double-dalet
that is like a box. The Rebbe and some of his children use what we call the
'Tzanzer Kesher' which as you point out is the custom of the Ari, and looks
like two dalets.
