Since I mentioned on Torah-Forum how impressed I was with the article by
prof. Daniel Michelson on "Equal Interval Reading of the Torah" and its
relevance to the ongoing discussion of proofs of the mesorah, there have
been a number of inquiries as to where the article may be found. The
article is available on the following web site:
http://www.math.gatech.edu/~jkatz/Religions/Numerics/torah.html

Links to this site may be accessed by searching for the full title of the
article in Infoseek Ultra.

[J. Adler also wrote of a second site with the article and "a collection of
kabbalistic texts and commentary," but I just checked it and the file at
that URL has been removed. -- YM]

Prof. Michelson, who is now at the Weizmann Institute in Israel, tells me
that he was unaware that his article was available on the web. The article
was first published in B'or Hatorah, 1987, volume 6. A critique by
Professor Sofer was published in volume 8 and a reply by Michelson and
others was published in volume 9. B'or Hatorah is (was?) published by
Shamir, PO Box 5749, Jerusalem, Israel (Phone # 02-223-702).
