Re: Ritual Purity of Menorahs

I don't understand what the poster of this topic means by ritual purity in
connection with a Menorah, but I presume the poster is talking about the
Halachic correctness of the Menorah. I presume we are discussing the
Menorah used for Chanukah. To be Halachically acceptable the candle holders
must be in a straight line. If they are not at a 180 degree level, they are
not to be used for Chanukah. A Menorah used for Shabbos however can be in
any position. I hope this clarifies the confusion.
