Circumcision

As a soon-to-be father (BE'H), I thought I'd go on the internet to browse
'circumcision' sites, hoping for an idea for a d'var torah( lesson from the
Torah). Instead of Torah, I found a plethora of sites deeply, morally,
bitterly against circumcision, many sites equating the male bris with
'female circumcision', denouncing the practice as cruel, against everything
humane and decent. Assuming that the world wide web is a reflection of the
ebb and tide of society at large, what does one answer these people, who
wish to destroy this covenant with HaKodosh Boruch Hu ( G-d ) by labeling
it as a cruel mutilation forced on innocent children by heartless parents
and care givers?
