I do not believe that anything made in Europe would have an OU, as it would
require American supervision, something which is hard to arrange in Europe.

In fact, having heard that Bailey's Irish Cream was now 'hechshered'
(carried a Kosher certification), but unable to find the hechsher, I called
the London Beis Din, asking them what the status was. They said that it had
nothing to do with the OU, and that they certified it as kosher.
