Does Rabinnic law suggest that the devil exists? If so, is it an angel?
And, if an angel, does it have any power?
Christians believe in evil incarnate, the devil, and believe in hell. And,
of course, that gets into the whole christian concept that if you don't
believe like they do, you're going to hell. And, they believe that man is
basicly evil (original sin).
So I guess what I really want is the Jewish concept of the Satan and please
give some cites as to where in the Tenach this concept is mentioned.
