There is absolutely no significance in their assertion that Prov. 30:4 is a
reference to the founder of Christianity. If you look closely at the verse,
Jeffrey, you will see that the cola are a series of sarcastic questions
posed to anyone who asserts that they can copy G- d. "What is his name?"
is, therefore, a sarcastic question asking who is this person with the
qualifications that G-d possesses. The poet continues to poke fun at the
disbeliever and asks "has that person ever existed, does he have a son?".
The Christians comb the Bible to find references to a "son" hoping to give
their founder some divinity. They even find a reference to a "son" in Ps.
2:12 where the word "bar" appears - never mind that "bar" is Aramaic and
the the entire psalm is written in Hebrew. Keep the faith Jeffrey and keep
learning.
