In Torah-Forum V3 #85 Someone asked what to do with the Esrog after Succos.
I read that it is a Segulah for a woman in labor to bite the end (the
Pittem) of the Esrog in order to give birth quickly.

The custom is for a pregnant woman to bite the pitom on Hoshana Rabo (after
the esrog has been used for its mitsvo the last time). This custom is
mentioned in the Elef Hamogen (found in some editions of Mate Efrayim).
