The Jewish Calendar and Holidays (incl. Sabbath): The Sabbath: Shabbos Candles:

My relatives are having a Bar Mitzvah in a nearbyhotel and will be eating their meals there. Theywill be sleeping in their house.Where should theylight Shabbos candles? Is it preferable in theplace where they sleep or the place will they eat all your meals?

It is preferable that they light Shabbos candles where they are going to eat, so that they can benefit from them. However, they should also turn on a nightlight or bathroom light where they are staying and have in mind that this is also for Oneg Shabbos. No Beracha should be recited on this, only on the candles lit where they are going to eat.
