Zechariah was one of the last prophets; he lived at the time of the
return of the Jews from the Babylonian exile. In Ch.14, the last
chapter of his book, he prophesies that Jerusalem will be attacked
by non-Jews and half of its population exiled, but that G-d Himself
will make war against the attackers, defeat them, and become the
undisputed King of the world. Afterwards, all the peoples of the
world will come to Jerusalem every year to celebrate the festival
of Sukkos, and the city will be a peaceful and holy place. This
prophecy doesn't relate to Zechariah's period; it refers to future
events that haven't yet taken place.
