The Basics of Judaism: G-d & Torah: The Dead Sea Scrolls:

What are the Dead Sea Scrolls? What language are they written in?

The Dead Sea Scrolls are the remnants of the library of a Jewish sect. They include most of the books of the Bible and the Apocrypha, as well as books on the sect's regulations. Nearly all of them are in Hebrew; a few percent (mostly apocryphal books) are in Aramaic; and a few scraps (mostly Septuagint fragments) are in Greek.
