Jewish History: Biblical History: The Early Pharaohs:

What were the names of the Pharaohs in the times of Abraham, Joseph, and Moses?

According to a legend cited by Ginsburg, the Pharaoh in Abraham's time was named Rakyon, and he is said to have been the first Egyptian king to take the title "Pharaoh". Ginsburg doesn't give the name of the Pharaoh in Joseph's time; but he says that the Pharaoh at the time of Moses' birth was named Malol, and the Pharaoh at the time of the Exodus was named Adikam. According to the Encyclopedia Judaica (vol. 6, col. 1047), scholars identify the Pharaoh at the time of the Exodus with Rameses II or with his son Merenptah.
