What is Ezra famous for?

As described in the Book of Ezra, he is famous for inspiring a religious revival among the Jews who had returned from Babylonia to Eretz Yisroel after King Cyrus granted permission to build the Second Temple. The Talmud (Megillah 15a) says that Ezra was Malachi.
