Prayer and Religious Articles: Prayer and Blessings: Kaddish:

Because of work, I am unable to attend morning prayers and therefore cannot recite Kaddish in the presence of 10 men. Is it permissible to recite at home?

I am your local Ask the Rabbi providor. As far as Kaddish is concerned the purpose of Kaddish is that it be said in public without a monyan the Kaddish is not said because it is not fulfilling its intended purpose. I would suggest that your try to say Kaddish as often as you can and ask someone who goes to the minyan to have the person you are saying kaddish for in mind when they say Kaddish. This is a common practice in many shuls.
