The Essence of Arthur -
by his wife, Gail Morgenstern

...a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a student.....He gave everyone in his life special attention and time to understand them and help with their needs and concerns. Everyone was important to Arthur!
He lived his finest moments when we could accomplish things that seemed impossible to accomplish, when he could take a vision, his focus and his perseverence and achieve his goals. And he did this with a most gentle and unassuming manner, one which earned him great admiration and respect.

What really stands out to me as his wife....

  • His Teshuvah - choosing to live his life in a different way and having the courage to change.
  • Being able to follow the crowd no matter how hard it was.
Wanting to do the right thing - his dedication to doing mitzvot
  • Discovering the joy of Shabbos and Yom Tov and sharing this with friends and family.
  • His love for Torah learning which grew deeper each day.
Arthur wanted to use each moment of his life in a meaningful way. He was not patient with life's trivia and mundane and I grew to understand this. Our journey together was a remarkable one. We grew and grew together. He taught me so much and left me with many wonderful gifts - for this I'll always be grateful. I hope G-d will give me the strength to continue in his path.
