To - R. . 11/02/2001 International monitors already assisted kidnapping and probable killing of several Israely soldiers. Do arabs need more assistance? Should we willingly give lives of our boys to their cruel hands? Ultimately, Israel is America's best friend. Even while condemning Isreal's actions, America invites Israel's security specialists to learn from them how to defend America from the new enemy.

Although I am not Jewish, I love Israel. And I will do whatever I must to make certain that our representatives in government do not stray from the source of our blessings by our Creator and Savior. The misinformed and anonymous commentator who thinks that it is "idiotic" to believe the Abrahamic Covenant understands nothing about why America has been blessed from its founding. When all other nations fall into the dust, Israel will still stand because Israel is precious to God. And Judah will have a ruler on the throne forever! The Scepter has not passed away. (Genesis 49:10) His promise cannot fail! Anyone who chooses to curse the apple of God's eye is foolish indeed! If we turn our back on and curse Israel, America simply has no future! Genesis 12:3 "I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

What happened to our faith that Hashem will not abandon us - ever? We don't have to defend ourselves - We should rely on Hashem for our every need!

You are probably right about America politically treating Israel as one who is contagious for having a cold, but there are citizens who embrace Israel regardless if it's sick with a cold or not - some love and even want to help Israel get well!

It is sad that our country, the United States of America, should be more concerned about what "all" the world thinks of it, rather than what the God of Israel and the God of our forefathers think. I shudder to think what will happen to this country should it turn it's back on God's chosen Israel. Have our leaders forgotten that God blesses those who bless Israel? If we quit blessing Israel, will this result in a curse for the United States of America?

Unfortunately this has to do with one important commodity: OIL (money).

It would be in everyone's best interest to send international monitors to Israel and Palestine. That way the horrible stuff happening in the region may be mitigated. What do you guys think?

I think that the comment "If we quit blessing Israel, will this result in a curse for the United States of America?" is idiotic. Presuming to speak for God and God's will shouldn't be something that anyone should try to do!

Those who believe the US should distance herself from Israel in order to placate Bin Ladin and his ilk might consider the ultimate sacrifice to him... world conversion to Islam... and whether even that would curtail his heinous terrorism.
