The Maccabiah games are misnamed as they are whet the Maccabis were fighting against. It is as if Daniel Barenboim claimed that insisting on playing Wagner showed that he would not bow to Arab terrorism.
The Maccabiah games are a celelbration of hellenism.
It is not a matter of bowing to terrorrism, but of acknowledging that certain activities are not appropriate.
