I have never been to Israel, but definately feel their pain. Something inside of me sparked when I heard about the first murders, and suicide bombings. It has taken this tragedy to really bring out my Jewishness, and my commitment to the Jewish people everywhere. I did start by making a monthly donation to an org in Israel, and I also made contact with a local reform shul. Not being religious has kept me from joining a shul, but now I have decided to join one, mainly to be close to other Jews. I feel that being with other people that are truly concerned about the plight of the Jews, and of Israel, is what I need to start living a meaningful Jewish life. - B. C. -0/5-/2002
